Driptech is laser-focused on making affordable irrigation technologies for small-plot farmers in developing countries. Driptech is focused on the radically distributed manufacturing needed to efficiently reach small plot farmers. They have developed rugged machinery to manufacture this simplified drip irrigation optimized for small farms set up in factories the size of a shipping container at 5% of the capital cost of a typical centralized factory. This has several important implications: (1) lower prices (2) customization for local sub-markets and rapid response to seasonal product shifts, and (3) job creation and goodwill for our brand in rural areas. The goal of DripTech is to set up local manufacturing operations so he can lower costs and get the company to profitability. For $50,000, Driptech can set up a facility that makes tubing for 50,000 farmers per year.the are scaling up for high-volume commercial roll-out in India
